On Friday, February 26, 2021, at 1:50 P.M., the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) Communications Center received a report of a stabbing in the 1400 block of East Fountain Boulevard. Medical personnel arrived on scene first and located the adult victim who was suffering from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. They were immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Based on the preliminary evidence and nature of this incident, detectives from the CSPD’s Violent Crimes Section responded and assumed responsibility for the investigation. Detectives are in the process of developing information about the incident. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
