Mayor Yemi Mobolade will deliver his annual State of the City address on Monday, September 9 at the regularly scheduled City Council Work Session and on Tuesday, September 10 at a Colorado Springs Chamber & Economic Development Corporation event.

In his speech, Mayor Yemi will reflect on the past year and highlight the City's new strategic plan, which outlines Colorado Springs' road to the future. 

City Council Work Session Address

Mayor Yemi will deliver his second State of the City address during the Colorado Springs' City Council work session on September 9 at 10 a.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. The speech will broadcast live on SpringsTV (Comcast Channel 18 and 880 HD) and at ColoradoSprings.gov/SpringsTV. It will also be available live on Facebook at @CityofCOS, @MayorofCOS and @COSCityCouncil. The City Council Work Session is open to the public, however, seating in the Council Chambers is limited and first come, first served. There will be overflow seating available.

Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC Address

Mayor Yemi will deliver his address at a State of the City event hosted by the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC and presented by Ting Fiber Internet on Tuesday, September 10 at 8 a.m. in the Broadmoor’s International Center. This event will also feature Mayor Yemi's Spirit of Colorado Springs Lifetime Achievement Award presentation. The speech will be broadcast live on Facebook at @CityofCOS and @MayorofCOS. This is a ticketed event.
