What is AskCOS?

AskCOS is the City of Colorado Springs’ new AI-powered virtual assistant. The chatbot is located in the bottom right corner of every page of the City’s website on both mobile and desktop and helps answer resident questions 24/7 by searching to provide relevant answers and webpages to questions and requests.

How does it work?

The AI-powered chatbot uses content across all of as its knowledge base, or training data, meaning it only uses the information on the website to develop answers. It won’t use outside websites or search engines to help formulate answers.
