About the Plan

As required under ADA Title II, the City of Colorado Springs has and maintains an ADA Transition Plan for its buildings and facilities. The City recently conducted a reassessment of the physical accessibility of its building and facilities and is updating its ADA Transition Plan to better reflect current conditions. This plan assists with a long-term strategic approach to continue improvements to the accessibility of City facilities, programs, activities and services. Because of the large number of City buildings and facilities, the City is releasing this information in phases.

Transition Plan Documents

We have a large number of documents in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF). In order to improve the viewing of these files, download the latest free version of Adobe Reader.

The Office of Accessibility is committed to ensuring online information is accessible to all users. Transition plan documents are living documents the Office of Accessibility consider to be in transit and subject to frequent changes and updates as new work is completed. To ensure resources are appropriated and utilized properly, the Office of Accessibility has elected to utilize Adobe Acrobat’s auto-tagging feature for portable documents beginning with Phase 12 transition plans. The Office of Accessibility will continue to make resources readily available for remediation efforts upon request as required by Administrative Regulation 2020-02. Please contact the Office of Accessibility at 719-385-5169 if you experience difficulty accessing information contained within the documents posted on this page.
