The City will hosted a public meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 23 starting at 5 p.m. at the Stompin’ Groundz (2050 Jet Wing Dr).
About the Plan
The Southeast Strong Community Plan is the first community planning project undertaken through the Neighborhood Planning Program. The plan area is generally the southern half of Council District 4 that consists of six neighborhoods nestled between Interstate 25 and Powers Boulevard: Deerfield Hills, Pikes Peak Park North, Pikes Peak Park South, Soaring Eagles, Southborough, and Spring Creek.
This plan is anticipated to provide guidance on physical development within the 4A planning area. Recommendations from this plan will touch on development topics such as transportation, economic development, celebrating culture, housing, climate resiliency, public safety and public health.
Advisory Groups
The Steering Committee for the Southeast Strong Community Plan consists of local government, non-profits, business groups, and resident representation from within the six neighborhoods that make up the 4A planning area.

Does the Southeast Strong Community Plan replace or nullify existing master plans?
Given the number and variety of existing plans already in place throughout the city, staff cannot make the overarching statement that the Southeast Strong Community Plan replaces all plans or that certain plans will not be folded into this plan – that will all be determined through the process of plan development and stakeholder engagement.
